Shanghai Dumpling King Sugar Puffs

These caught my eye as they made their way out of the kitchen at Shanghai Dumpling King. I called the waitress over to ask what they were and she just plopped them on our table. I didn't argue, would you?

They taste like a mix between a churro and funnel cake but way more airy. Simply put, can you go wrong with sweet fried airy dough?
